Who could miss a giant pink tap hovering magically in the air above this garden? With water cascading into a refreshing pool you could be forgiven for thinking that suddenly you need to go to the toilet - but where is the nearest one?
People suffering from Overactive Bladder (OAB) live their lives with the urgent need to go to the toilet. This garden has been designed to reflect the sense of urgency, and to get people really talking.

누가 이 정원 위 공중에 마법처럼 유혹하는 거대한 분홍색 수도를 놓칠 수 있을까요? 풀에 떨어지는 물에 의해 갑자기 화장실에 가고 싶은 생각을 하는 당신은 용서받을 수 있을까요? 그러나 가장 가까운 화장실이 어디에 있을까요?
과민한 방광 때문에 화장실에 갑자기 가고 싶은 필요에 고통받는 사람들이 있다. 이 정원은 이러한 긴급한 감각을 반영하여, 사람들이 이 문제를 정말로 이야기하도록 디자인되었다.

\'A matter of urgency\' is a campaign which aims to raise public awareness of OAB and get us talking about a condition that affects nearly one in five people in the UK over 40. We know that over 50% of people diagnosed with OAB don\'t feel comfortable talking about their water works with friends or family, and nearly one in three don\'t even feel comfortable talking about it with their GP. This campaign seeks to remove the taboo and encourage anyone experiencing symptoms to talk to their doctor.

‘긴급한 문제’는 과민 방광에 대한 대중적 인식을 높이고, 40세 이상 영국인 5명 중 1명에게 영향을 미치는 이 상황에 대해 우리가 얘기를 해보자는 캠페인이다. 과민 방광을 가진 사람 50% 이상이 친구들이나 가족과 물에 대한 얘기를 할 때 편안하지 않고 3명중 1명은 그들의 여자친구와 얘기를 할 때 불편하다는 것을 안다. 이 캠페인은 금기를 깨어 이 증상을 가지고 있는 사람들이 의사와 대화해 볼 것을 격려하는 것이다.

About the garden

The winding path inset with glass tiles symbolises the frustration felt by many people suffering from symptoms of OAB, and the straight path out of the garden indicates that help to alleviate symptoms is available. The main focus of the garden is a giant pink tap, which reflects the sense of urgency in needing to go to the toilet, and which appears to be magically suspended three meters in the air. Water cascades from the tap into a pool, which is surrounded by plants in shades of pink, silver and blue.

정원에 관해

유리 타일이 들어간 구불구불한 길은 과민 방광 증상으로 고통받는 많은 사람들에 의해 느껴지는 좌절을 상징한다. 정원에서 직선으로 만들어진 길은 증상을 완화시키는 도움이 가능하다는 것을 나타낸다. 정원의 주 초점은 긴급히 화장실에 갈 필요을 느끼는 감각을 반영한 공중 3m에서 마법처럼 매달려 있는 거대한 분홍색 수도이다. 수도에서 풀로 떨어지는 캐스케이드는 분홍색, 은색, 파랑색의 식물에 의해 둘러싸여 있다.
